Dr. med. Konstantin Seiller-Tarbuk, FEBO
Ophthalmologist (specialist in ophthalmology and optometry)
Dr. med. Konstantin Seiller-Tarbuk is a specialist in ophthalmology and optometry with Austrian specialist training and the FEBO diploma (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology). He performs 600 to 1,000 cataract operations every year.
His research focus is on cataract surgery, in particular the implantation of premium intraocular lenses. Alongside his clinical work, he takes part in humanitarian aid missions in Guatemala.
In his practice in Vienna (2nd district), Dr. Seiller-Tarbuk works as a Wahlarzt (elective doctor: you pay upfront and claim partial reimbursement from your insurer). For operations, he holds a contract with the ÖGK (Österreichische Gesundheitskasse, Austria's largest public health insurer) as well as agreements with all private insurers.
